Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, the job holder's principal responsibility is to provide prompt and accurate technical support to customers encountering problems with Distributel's products or services in order to restore services in a timely fashion by using prescribed tools and processes.
Work Performed:
- To receive and handle incoming calls or emails from customers subscribing to residential products and services;
- To make a precise diagnostic of the source of the problem by questioning the customer in a courteous, diplomatic and concise manner according to established procedures;
- To guide and assist the customer in making certain modifications and/or configurations to his system according to established procedures, and to educate the customer about the steps to follow in a similar situation;
- When necessary, to open trouble tickets with our internal and external suppliers in order to promptly restore service. Ensure follow-ups with both suppliers and clients;
- Other tasks as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:
- Completion of High School;
- Customer service experience;
- Must have demonstrated technical aptitude;
- Bilingual (English-French) both written and spoken
- Analytical & resourceful;
- Computer and technical literacy;
- Problem solving/reasoning/creativity;
- Self-motivated;
- Dependability/reliability;
- Adaptability/flexibility/multi-tasking;
- Must have flexible availability (week days and week-ends) on rotating schedule and split shifts.
Computer Skills & Software:
- Internet Browsers, Microsoft products, Email Clients
- Web based tools

- Business hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to midnight and weekends from 9am to midnight. Must have flexible availability (week days and week-ends) on rotating schedule and split shifts.
