TTEC Canada Solutions, Inc. jobs
Head Office: Montreal (QC)
Year of creation: 1982
Type of company: public company
Sector of activity: customer service, call centres
TTEC, which until recently was called 'Atelka, a TeleTech company', was born out of a disappointing customer service experience, experienced by its founder Ken Tuchman in the 1980s. Realizing the importance of communication between brands and their customers, he then had the idea to launch a business process outsourcing company entirely dedicated to improving the customer experience provided by companies. Advice, technologies, sales programs, loyalty programs, back office solutions: TTEC today helps companies worldwide to manage their interactions with their customers in all types of situations (face-to-face, telephone, chat, social media, etc.).
In Canada, TTEC has approximately 3,000 employees located in 8 centers across provinces of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Employees are experts and consultants in customer service, sales and marketing. It is not rare that positions offered in call centers require the mastery of a language other than the two official languages (Cantonese, Dutch, etc.).
TTEC offers the opportunity to work from home and the company was ranked 4th on the FlexJobs' 2017 list (100 best distance employment company).
The company has nearly 50,000 employees around the world, and in fact has developed advanced tools and superior technology that benefits employees.
In the call centers, you can hear up to 9 different languages.
At the Montreal head office, employees have access to a fitness center, a cafeteria and a Starbucks, a covered parking, pool tables and table tennis.
Series of events (concerts, social events, networking lunches) also take place regularly.
One of the peculiarities of the TTEC company, is the proportion, in the United States, of veterans in its service. An employment program has been specifically designed for them, and their hiring is strongly encouraged. The company recognizes that dedication, leadership, and the ability to work under pressure and in a team environment while they were in services in the army, are essential qualities of customer service.
