You will support the success of the TELUS loyalty and retention teams who support and protect our base of customers in Quebec every single day. By leveraging data and working closely with our CE, offer & pricing, and reporting partners, you will help drive one of the most important strategies at TELUS!

*This is a 13 month maternity leave coverage*

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together:

You’ll use your balance of marketing strategy and analytical data skills to analyze and optimize our SmartHome Security retention strategies in the Quebec space.
You’ll work across a large stakeholder group including SmartHome Security Marketing,
Business Intelligence, Finance, Offers & Pricing, and TELUS International as well as numerous teams within the TELUS organization to measure and execute nimble strategic reactive retention plans while continuously managing the cost of retention metric.

Here’s how:

  • Interlock with pricing and offers team to ensure retention strategies work for both churn reduction and financial cost of retention
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles including pricing, cost analysis, value propositions, and demand drivers
  • Use your creativity and Initiator attitude to drive new enhancements to further grow the retention program
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to drive customer retention success
  • Become the subject matter expert on SmartHome Security cost of retention reporting and offer strategy
  • Monitor performance and leverage insights into actionable requirements to drive continuous improvement
  • Track, modify/optimize the retention stimulation playbook to maximize ROI, churn, cost of retention & product intensity

Qualifications

You're the missing piece of the puzzle:

  • Noted for your creativity and innovation in driving performance by embracing non-traditional and traditional solutions to retention and marketing challenges
  • Analytical strength for leveraging data to tell the story of where the opportunities are for actionable improvements particularly around offers, pricing strategy, cost of retention or cost of acquisition
  • Experience in data analytic techniques that incorporate well into storytelling
  • Consistently demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely across cross- functional teams to identify opportunities and execute on projects and priorities
  • Recognized for your ability to bring forward new ideas, challenge established thinking, and be ready to adapt plans to changing business needs
  • Known for your focus on strategy, you can develop and articulate actionable strategies to meet the needs of our customers while also meeting the needs of the business
  • Bilingual in French and English

Great-to-haves:

  • Knowledge of the Google suite of applications, notably Slides and Sheets
  • Experience in marketing, customer loyalty & retention or offer and pricing strategy
  • Strong articulate communication skills to deliver excellent presentations
  • Work with data visualization tools (Tableau and Domo)
