Job Description

We are looking for a professional Customer Service Representative with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.  The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day account support, and will be an integral part of our team, working to enhance the customer's experience in a positive manner. This is a full-time and permanent position. The candidate must be available for full business hours from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Entering, processing and coordinating all account orders received by telephone, fax, e-mail, ecommerce or EDI.
  • Tracking orders and shipments according to customer requirements.
  • Providing knowledgeable answers, in a timely and efficient manner, to all incoming customers' inquiries. pertaining to product and pricing.
  • Consistent follow-up for order status, and deliveries inquiries.
  • Maintaining customer databases.
  • Tracking and analyzing inventory levels to avoid shortages or unnecessary surpluses.
  • Collaborating and ensuring coordination with the Sales, Production Planning and Distribution departments in any matter relative to customers' account and requirements.
  • Staying current of product applications, features and benefits.

Experience and Job Requirements

  • College or university diploma/degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a Customer Service or Call Center environment, preferably B2B.
  • Exceptional communication skills are required.Candidate must be fluent in English (verbal and written) and must possess a good knowledge of French (spoken, but written would be considered an asset).
  • To be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • To be a creative problem solver with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data entry and reporting skills.
  • Collaborative team oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP software. (Asset)
