As a Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative with us, your key responsibilities will include: Coordinating driver routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient waste collection services. Communicating with drivers throughout the day to provide updates, route adjustments, and problem resolution. Answering customer calls and processing customer orders for new service, discontinuance, or changes in service. Handling customer inquiries related to service scheduling, delays, and special requests. Accepting payments from customers, researching customer billing inquiries and updating customer account information. Tracking fleet performance and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with operations teams to optimize safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine service requirements, resolve problems or complaints, and seek cost-effective, safe environmentally sound solutions to service issues. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: 2 years of experience in a high-volume dispatch or logistics environment. 2 years of high-volume Customer Service experience Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Experience with dispatching software and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. What you’ll do
Coordinate driver routes and schedules to ensure efficient waste collection while communicating updates and resolving problems. Handle customer inquiries, process service orders, and manage billing and account information.
Requirements
Requires at least 2 years of experience in both high-volume dispatch/logistics and customer service environments. Proficiency in dispatching software and Microsoft Office suite is essential.
