About the Role

As a PSI (Purchasing/Sales/Inventory) Coordinator, you will support and optimize Kyocera's PSI process across Canada and its subsidiary companies. Working closely with Demand Planning, Purchasing, Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams, you will help ensure accurate forecasting, inventory planning, procurement alignment, and compliance with global PSI standards.

Through data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration, you will identify risks, drive process improvements, and promote PSI best practices to support operational excellence across Headquarters and five subsidiary companies.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

PSI Planning & Execution Collaborate with demand planners and purchasing teams to develop, review, and align monthly PSI plans for KDCA. Monitor sales, purchasing, and inventory performance against plan; analyze variances, identify risks, and drive corrective actions. Develop dashboards and reporting tools to support decision-making and proactively identify issues and opportunities. Monitor inventory levels, lead times, logistics flows, and procurement requirements to support product availability and inventory optimization. Coordinate inventory transfers between HQ distribution centers and subsidiary companies as required.

PSI Governance & Oversight Review and validate monthly PSI submissions from subsidiary companies and ASM’s and provide feedback to sales forecast (S) and purchase plan (P) owners. Monitor PSI performance against plan, identify discrepancies and risks, and coordinate corrective actions as required. Ensure compliance with KDC's global PSI schedules and submission timelines. Promote standardized PSI methodologies, governance practices, and best practices across sales companies and subsidiaries.

Aged Inventory Management Monitor aged and excess inventory and identify corrective actions to reduce business risk across KDCA-G companies. Partner with Sales and Marketing to implement inventory reduction and sell-through initiatives. Track progress against action plans and escalate concerns as required.

Data Analysis & Reporting Develop and maintain dashboards, analytics, and reports to monitor PSI performance and support business decision-making. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency through validation and data management activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with internal teams and subsidiary PSI contacts to support forecasting, purchasing, inventory planning, and operational alignment. Participate in process improvement initiatives and promote PSI best practices across the organization. Provide training and guidance to support standardization and continuous improvement. Collaborate with KDA, KDC, and subsidiary stakeholders, including occasional meetings outside standard business hours due to time zone differences.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field. 3+ years of experience in PSI, supply chain planning, purchasing, inventory management, or a related analytical role. Strong knowledge of PSI principles, forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain processes. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Dynamics, SAP, etc.). Proficiency with Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Self-directed, highly organized, and detail-oriented.

Preferred: Experience with data simulations Strong project management Experience in process improvement or project leadership. Experience in training, standardization, or best practice deployment preferred.
