About the role

The Co-op Ethanol Complex (CEC) is hiring an Administrative Assistant on a permanent full time basis.

This position requires on-site work and is based near Belle Plain, SK.

What you’ll do:

You will provide support services to internal and external individuals for our Co-op Ethanol Complex (CEC). This includes handling general front office reception, administration and assisting the office and leadership team with various tasks including:

  • You will provide customer service and assist internal employees, visitors and customers as required. 

  • You will monitor, process and respond to incoming mail including the AP email box, and order office supplies as needed.

  • You will complete data entry, typing, spreadsheet work, formatting documents, copying, filing and updating paper and electronic documents.

  • You will gather, request, process and enter information for account setup, WCB/insurance, credit applications and other accounts payable requirements as required.

  • You will be involved with processing grain delivery, distiller grain sales, and ethanol sales receipts.

  • You will assist in preparing and maintaining regulatory reporting information.

Who you’ll work with: The Team: As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in creating a positive customer experience. You will work closely with the accounting and finance team by coordinating a variety of administrative tasks.

Why it matters: We help grow Western Canadian communities through our commitment to purchase local grain and starch inputs to produce ethanol and dried distillers grain (DDG).  We use the ethanol to support a lower carbon economy in Western Canada. 

Who you are: You are looking for a career in Administration and:

  • Have a certificate in Business Administration.
  • You have 1 – 3 years of relevant experience with administrative duties (a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered)
  • Have a valid class 5 driver’s license.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, results orientated and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
