Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Customer Service Sales Representative. The person in this role will handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries, provide product information, and guide potential customers through the benefits and features of FogSafe’s security solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to phone, email, and chat requests, qualifying leads, preparing quotes, and following up to close sales. The role also involves troubleshooting basic customer issues, coordinating with technical and operations teams, and maintaining accurate records in the CRM system. The representative will work closely with the sales team to meet individual and team targets while ensuring a positive, professional customer experience. Qualifications Customer service skills: ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a professional, empathetic tone. Sales and negotiation skills: experience qualifying leads, presenting solutions, overcoming objections, and closing deals. Communication skills: strong verbal and written communication, active listening, and clear explanation of technical concepts in simple terms. Technical aptitude: comfort learning security products and using digital tools such as CRM systems, email platforms, and online meeting software. Organization and time management: ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple conversations, and meet deadlines and performance targets. Customer-focused mindset: commitment to building long-term relationships and delivering high-quality service in a remote environment. Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or a contact center environment is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, communications, or related fields is a plus.
