About the role

Linde Canada Inc.

Customer Service Rep / Customer Care Associate (full time)

Edmonton, AB, Canada | req29165

This position is responsible for the coordination of telephone referrals, verification of criteria and appropriates funding in setting up clients for home oxygen therapy and related healthcare services. Receive and process client walk-in or phone orders, inquiries, and/or issues covering items or products ordered along with showroom sales and inquiries from walk-in clients.

What you will enjoy doing*

  • In this role, you’d be one of the main points of contact for customers—taking phone orders, answering questions, checking on order or shipment status, and helping resolve any issues that come up.
  • You’d also be responsible for setting up customer accounts correctly from the start and keeping all their information and pricing accurate over time.
  • A big part of the job is supporting our Territory Managers—you’ll balance inside sales activities with customer service, all while helping the team hit our overall sales targets.
  • You’ll work with customers on payments as well, making sure accounts stay up to date and in good standing.
  • On the operational side, you’ll track orders in our system (JDE) to ensure everything is delivered and billed properly.
  • There’s a financial component too—handling daily cash reconciliation and preparing bank deposits.
  • And finally, you’d help keep things running smoothly day-to-day by making sure all outgoing mail is sent out on schedule.

What makes you great*

  • For this role, we’re looking for someone with at least a high school diploma or equivalent as a foundation.
  • Ideally, you’ll bring around 2 years of customer service experience, and if you’ve worked in retail sales, that’s definitely a strong asset.
  • Communication is really key here—you should feel comfortable building relationships, both with customers and internally, and staying well organized in your work.
  • You’ll also need to be confident using computers and systems, as a lot of the role involves working within different tools and platforms.
  • Safety is something we take seriously, so having a strong commitment to maintaining safe work practices is a must.
  • We’re looking for someone who can build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, while also staying on top of opportunities for growth in our Homecare business.
  • The environment can get busy, so being able to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure will really help you succeed.
