This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the smooth operation of concessions with an emphasis on food preparation, serving customers and maintaining a sanitary work area. Duties include assisting in providing direction to part-time concession attendants as well as inventory management in a face paced environment while focusing on exceptional customer service. This position is a 9-month part time contract from September 2026 to June 2027 with the possibility of renewal. Successful candidates must be able to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends. Major Job Responsibilities Assign work and provide direction, support and leadership to concession attendants Provide excellent customer service Emphasis on food preparation, serving customers and maintaining a sanitary work area Ensure accurate cash handling; balance cash at end of shift Follow procedures for the opening and/or closing of concessions Stock shelves and display items in an organized manner Maintain equipment in an organized and clean manner Complete all inventory functions. Provide supervisor updates of opportunities after shifts. Assist in orientation and training of concession staff Assist with orders, deliveries and inventory management Access to transportation to travel between work locations in a timely manner is required, as successful candidate(s) may be required to travel between different camp sites Assist in special events as required Must be able to lift up to 25lbs Comply with all health and safety practices as it relates to the work, standard operating guidelines and the Occupational Health & Safety Act Other duties as assigned Education & Experience Minimum Qualifications Minimum grade11 education Minimum one (1) year experience with food preparation and cash handling Must possess strong communication and customer service skills Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills as well as mature judgment and diplomacy in sensitive situations Strong math skills Excellent planning and organizational skills Successful candidates will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector screening dated within 6 months as a condition of employment Preferred Qualifications Experience using POS is an asset Standard First Aid/CPR Certification is an asset Safe Food Handlers Certification is an asset Note to Applicants This posting is for an existing job vacancy.
