Provide customer service by examining vehicles and recommend needed service. Ensure all required parts for a repair process are obtained Ensure the shop is clean and tidy and assist Licensed Automotive Technicians when required. Follow dealership and manufacturer service guidelines. What do you need to succeed? 2-3 years of automotive experience required. Level 3 or higher Apprentice. Previous brand experience and lube tech experience considered an asset. Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Mechanical aptitude and interest. Must be team oriented, hardworking with a positive attitude. Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record. . Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed. Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines. Proven knowledge and experience with automotive mechanical operations. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Job Type: Full Time - Permanent Compensation (expected flat hourly rate): $23.00 - $27.00 per hour under our skilled trades flat-rate (piece work) compensation plan. Expected annual earnings: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on historical earnings at this location and typical productivity; actual earnings vary based on individual output and service department repair order volumes.
