We are seeking an outstanding Front of House Manager to lead our Front Office operations at our prestigious Bowood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who is driven by service excellence, values teamwork, and understands how to balance guest satisfaction with commercial success.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Deputy General Manager, you will oversee and direct all aspects of the Front Office operation, ensuring the highest standards of guest service are consistently delivered while achieving targets for quality, cost control, revenue, and profitability.
You will lead and inspire the Front Office, Night, Guest Relations, and Porter teams, ensuring seamless coordination across departments and creating a welcoming, efficient, and memorable guest journey from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and develop Front Office, Night, Guest Relations, and Porter teams. Drive a culture of service excellence, ensuring every guest interaction exceeds expectations. Oversee daily Front Office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. Manage departmental financial performance, including budgets, cost control, and revenue optimisation. Maximise profitability through effective room scheduling, inventory management, and system utilisation. Collaborate closely with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Reservations, and Accounts teams. Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate team members in line with company procedures. Prepare and analyse reports on guest satisfaction, performance metrics, and industry benchmarks. Maintain strong operational control while continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.

You understand that every decision impacts both the guest experience and the business. Proven experience in a senior Front Office role within a similar luxury hotel environment. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and drive revenue. A commitment to integrity, professionalism, and accountability. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A collaborative approach that fosters teamwork across departments. A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
