Description Charter Specialist/Scheduler Standard Bus Contracting is currently seeking a charter administration support professional to join our team in Whitehorse. This role is responsible for addressing the needs of charter customers and delivering exceptional customer service.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Quote customers on charter requests
• Assign bids to drivers
• Answer phone calls, return messages, and handle inquiries
• Respond to emails and requests in a timely manner
• Assist charter drivers with questions regarding pick-up and drop-off locations
• Prepare charter waybills promptly for clients

Knowledge And Skills Required

• Knowledge of Highway Traffic Acts and Regulations
• Knowledge of federal Hours of Service legislation
• Multitasking and ability to handle high-volume of workloads
• Map reading ability with knowledge of Whitehorse and the Territory
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professional conduct within a high-volume environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal partners
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Working Conditions This is a permanent, part-time position working Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Availability for on-call as required including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
