Pharmasave #405 Langenburg is looking for a full-time Merchandise Clerk to join our team in Langenburg, Saskatchewan. Responsibilities: Accurately receive and verify all incoming orders using proper procedures Use POS receiving systems and maintain related documentation (invoices, purchase orders, claims) Coordinate inter-store transfers and correct discrepancies in costs, quantities, or terms Ensure accurate entry of product data (cost, quantity, pricing) into the POS system Instruct team members on receiving procedures in the Merchandising Coordinator’s absence Organize and maintain the stockroom, including incoming orders, overstock, and supplies Ensure proper stock rotation and establish periodic clear-out policies Manage marking and shipping supplies; handle supplier returns and damaged goods Maintain stockroom security and assist with Front Store Clerk duties as needed Apply merchandising standards (stock rotation, shelf labels, facing) Maintain assigned store sections and notify buyers of out-of-stock items Assist in inventory counts and ensure checkout areas are stocked with supplies Greet all customers warmly and offer assistance when needed Build product knowledge and utilize effective selling techniques Handle challenging customer situations with tact and escalate complaints as necessary Inform management of customer feedback and follow store policy for security and shoplifting Support the Front Store Manager and Store Operator/Pharmacy Manager with additional tasks as required Qualifications & Skills: Merchandising, retail, shipping, and receiving experience are considered assets Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks like pulling, packing, and loading Candidates must be at least 19 years old to handle alcohol stock. Comfortable standing for extended periods Accurate cash handling and strong computer/POS skills Clear, courteous communicator with strong customer service and cashiering experience Able to multitask and manage high-volume client interactions efficiently Professional, well-groomed appearance (including name tag) and a mature, cooperative attitude Strong product knowledge and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Successful candidates must complete a Criminal Record Check Schedule: 40 hours per week. (Full-time) The store is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Candidates must be flexible to work some Saturday shifts as required.
