Description
The Operations Support Representative collects, enters, and tracks data used in reporting and prepares manager reports and maintains documents to ensure document accuracy and proper completion.
Responsibilities
- To ensure all operational procedures and policies are followed.
- Maintain efficient clerical operations and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Data entry (spreadsheet, reports, payroll, etc.)
- Communicate directly with customers via email & phone
- Assist customs with inspection of shipments
- Create and finalize shipment manifests pertaining to exams
- Short travel to CBSA YVR office would be required weekly
- Clear Y50 reject shipments with broker/customs
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Data entry skills and experience (will be tested), Excel, Word
- Knowledge of all operational policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Must be able to lift 70lbs
- Must be a team-player
- Must exhibit strong customer service skills
- Ability to correspond to employees and customers in a professional and business-like fashion

Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.
POSTING DETAILS
Hours of work: Tuesday to Saturday 3:00pm – 8:00pm, shifts will vary, flexibility required. 25 Hours per week hrs./week.
