Job Summary Our client is seeking an IT Infrastructure Associate to provide hands-on operational support across a hybrid network and cloud environment. This role will support the day-to-day administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Cisco Meraki networking hardware and Microsoft Azure cloud services, while also coordinating with internet service providers, managing hardware logistics, and maintaining accurate infrastructure documentation.

Key Responsibilities Network & Connectivity

Perform daily health checks using the Cisco Meraki Dashboard to monitor switches, access points, and security appliances. Troubleshoot office connectivity issues and support remote users with VPN setup and access. Assist with physical installation, cabling, labeling, and documentation of network equipment. Support ongoing network reliability, uptime, and issue resolution.

Cloud & Server Support

Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions in Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD. Monitor Azure VM performance and status. Support routine server tasks such as service restarts, disk management, and patching. Ensure Azure resources are accurately tagged for cost-centre reporting and inventory management.

Vendor, ISP & Hardware Management

Act as the main point of contact for ISP-related issues, including circuit outages and service tickets. Track ISP resolution timelines and coordinate technician site visits when required. Manage RMA processes for faulty hardware, including shipment tracking and replacement coordination. Maintain organized documentation for circuit IDs, vendor contacts, support records, asset details, and warranty dates.

Required Skills Experience supporting hybrid IT infrastructure environments across networking, cloud, and end-user connectivity. Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki networking hardware and dashboard-based monitoring. Experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Portal navigation, Azure VMs, and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD. Understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Ethernet cabling, and network troubleshooting. Experience coordinating with external vendors, ISPs, and hardware providers. Strong documentation, asset tracking, and follow-up skills. Professional written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and service providers. Must have some exposure to Mobile Device Management (MDM).

Education Requirements Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. AZ-900 / Azure Fundamentals certification is an asset. Cisco, networking, or infrastructure-related certifications are considered an asset.

Required Experience Experience supporting hybrid IT infrastructure environments across networking, cloud, and end-user connectivity. Role is a mix of traditional IT Infrastructure (Azure, Cloud, Server Admin and support) and Network (Cisco Meraki, ideally CCNA, project and support). Candidate can be heavier on one side or the other, but also willing and able to support both sides.
