Administrative Assistant - Citizen Relations and Communications #369
About the role
Our client, a non-profit organization located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, is looking for an Administrative Assistant in Citizen Relations and Communications to assist in managing its files at the administrative level.
Your responsibilities:
- Open files.
- Be the point of contact by ensuring follow-up and handling emails and phone calls from citizens.
- Greet citizens.
- Process tax payments for citizens.
- Enter data and send reports to community partners on various files handled by the department.
- Support the director.
- Assist with social media management and be available to respond to any urgent matters.
- Perform all other related tasks.

Requirements:
- Hold a DEP in office management, secretarial studies, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent command of the French language, both oral and written.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and practices governing the municipal sector.
- Strong knowledge of computer tools (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Knowledge of Somum and WordPress software.
- Experience in a municipal environment (an asset).
Salary: $27.85 per hour
Schedule: Day shift - Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Status: Temporary
