Role Description This full-time hybrid role for a Sales Specialist is based in St. John’s, NL, with some flexibility for work from home. The Sales Specialist will identify and pursue new business opportunities, nurture existing client relationships, and promote Graywood Enterprises’ transportation and logistics services across key sectors. Daily tasks include engaging with prospective clients, preparing quotes and proposals, coordinating with operations to ensure service alignment, and following up on leads to close sales. The role also involves maintaining accurate sales records, contributing to sales forecasts, and participating in the development of sales strategies and promotional initiatives. The Sales Specialist will collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality customer service and may assist in training colleagues on sales processes and best practices. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships and provide responsive support to clients. Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Management skills to generate new business, manage pipelines, and achieve revenue targets. Candidates should possess Training skills to help share best practices and support continuous improvement within the sales team. Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or related industries is beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency with CRM software and basic office productivity tools is an asset. Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.
