Position Overview: As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our logistics department. You will act as the primary liaison between our Sales Executives and partner carriers to exceed our client’s expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with partner carriers. Operational Oversight: Monitor loading, unloading, and appointment schedules. Follow up with customers regarding any delays, missed appointments, or late arrivals. Full cycle order processing, ensuring that all loads are accurately received and entered in the TMS system Ensures all required paperwork is accurately completed, electronically filed, and communicated to all necessary parties Responsible for carrier communications, such as providing detailed pickup/delivery information, as well as managing any in-transit delays such as mechanical failure, accident, etc. Tracking shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring accurate date information is always available and communicated appropriately to customers and team members Proactive Problem Solving: Identify potential issues before they escalate. Communicate any problems such as delays, accidents, etc., immediately to the Sales Executives. Professional Communication: Demonstrate professionalism, a positive attitude, and exceptional telephone etiquette. Team Collaboration: Assist other team members as required to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in Transportation & Logistics. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to anticipate and solve problems proactively. High level of professionalism and positive attitude. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
