Inside Sales Supervisor / Assistant Branch Manager Build Your Career. Lead a Branch. Grow With Us. The successful candidate will work alongside our Vice President and leadership team, learning every aspect of the Edmonton operation with the objective of transitioning into the Edmonton Branch Manager position. What You'll Do As our Assistant Branch Manager, you'll learn every aspect of running a successful branch while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include: Inside sales and customer relationship management Preparing quotations and processing customer orders Working closely with outside sales representatives Purchasing and inventory coordination Supporting warehouse and logistics operations Managing customer priorities and project schedules Training and mentoring team members Assisting with branch operations and daily leadership Learning financial, operational, and inventory management Helping drive branch growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction What We're Looking For You are someone who enjoys leading people as much as serving customers. Qualifications: 5+ years of industrial distribution experience preferred Experience in PVF, valves, industrial products, oil & gas, mechanical, municipal, or related industries is a strong asset Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Leadership experience or a strong desire to move into management Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset Leadership Development You will receive hands-on mentoring in: Branch operations Sales leadership Inventory management Financial performance Team development Customer strategy Operational excellence Our goal is to prepare you to successfully lead one of Walker Flow's largest branches.
