Accountabilities: The Virtual Mutual Funds Representative will provide professional investment support and advisory services to current and prospective clients. This role focuses on understanding client needs, recommending appropriate investment solutions, achieving sales objectives, and ensuring compliance with established financial regulations and service standards. Engage with clients to understand their financial objectives, investment needs, and wealth management priorities. Recommend and promote appropriate investment products and services based on client goals and approved guidelines. Proactively contact clients to identify opportunities to improve their experience and provide relevant investment solutions. Deliver professional sales and service support by responding accurately to client questions, requests, and investment inquiries. Achieve sales objectives by identifying opportunities and matching clients with suitable investment products. Process client transactions accurately and complete required documentation following each interaction. Refer clients to specialized internal teams when additional expertise or support is required. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of investment markets, industry trends, products, and regulatory requirements. Communicate relevant programs, promotions, and investment opportunities to clients when appropriate. Protect confidential client and organizational information while following privacy and security standards. Identify and report suspicious activity potentially related to money laundering or financial crime. Follow compliance requirements, including applicable consumer protection, regulatory, and risk management obligations. Analyze client issues, determine appropriate solutions, and escalate complex situations when necessary. Requirements: The successful candidate will have experience in financial services, investment products, or client-facing sales environments, combined with strong communication and problem-solving skills. They should be comfortable working independently in a virtual setting while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction and regulatory compliance. 2–3 years of relevant professional experience with post-secondary education in a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or equivalent professional experience required. Bilingual proficiency in French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC), or equivalent investment representative licensing requirements. Understanding of investment products, wealth management services, and financial industry practices. Knowledge of market trends, competitive offerings, and client investment needs. Functional understanding of risk management, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client interactions and priorities. Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and make sound decisions. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
