Job DescriptionHousekeeping Room Attendant (Part Time)You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will take ownership of guest rooms, ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space, and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.What you will be doing:Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager, your essential job functions include, but are not limited to:Clean all assigned guestrooms to standardTake initiative to add a personalized experience for the guestTake ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional serviceFollow departmental policies, procedures and service standardsClean and stock linen closet at the end of the shiftReport any maintenance defects in guest rooms and surrounding areas to housekeepingFollow all safety and sanitation policiesOther duties as assignedPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Constant standing and walking throughout shift.Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.QualificationsYour experience and skills include: Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an assetAbility to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcomingExcellent organizational skills and time managementStrong physical condition requiredExcellent communication skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible and reliableMust be legally eligible to work in Canada.
