Baywood Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience to join our dedicated team. As an AAHA-accredited companion animal hospital, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care while fostering a supportive and collaborative workplace.
What You'll Do
Assist veterinarians with medical appointments, surgery, and dentistry. Perform anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery. Collect and process laboratory samples. Take and interpret diagnostic radiographs. Administer medications and treatments. Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient care. Work collaboratively with veterinarians and support staff in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in good standing with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT). Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a companion animal practice. Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance skills. Excellent communication and client service abilities. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a team environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for animal care.
