Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated is seeking a Temporary Information Service (IS) Support Technician to join our team. You will assist with configuring, installing, and maintaining software, hardware and telecommunications services which include personal computers, software applications, printers, telephones, mobiles devices and photocopiers. As Temporary Information Service (IS) Support Technician, you will:

• Provide first-level IT support to employees in person, remotely, by phone, and on-call, escalating issues as required.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer hardware, software, operating systems, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, ERP systems, user accounts, and other business applications.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing equipment, managing user access, and providing technical guidance.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, documentation, service records, and departmental inventory.
• Assist in managing network infrastructure, VPN, phone systems, and other business-critical technologies.
• Document service requests, resolve technical issues, and recommend system and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, BRC standards, and other quality requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support business operations.

Requirements: 

• Minimum three (3) years of relevant IT support or technical experience.
• Post-secondary diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships and interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard business applications.
• Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a commitment to achieving results while contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, work overtime as required, lift up to 12 kg (26 lbs), and work in environments requiring personal protective equipment (PPE) or exposure to elevated noise levels.
