Additionally, we are Whistler's largest conference resort hotel, offering 5 unique dining outlets, a slope-side Health Club, and 519 guestrooms and suites.Job DescriptionBanquets Server (Casual)As a Banquets Server, you will help to create a special event our guests will remember. Your ability to work as a team player, combined with your service skills and your engaging personality, will ensure that our guests have a memorable experience.This is a Casual position.Starting Rate of Pay: $18.80 per hourWe recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $20.60.Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful wayServe all food and beverage items for assigned banquet meetingsHave full knowledge of beverage lists Have full knowledge of all menu items being servedFollow outlet policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage QualificationsServing It Right Certificate requiredPrevious serving experienceMust thrive under pressure and be knowledgeable in guest recoveryPrevious experience in Banquets is preferredJob Perks & Benefits:Complimentary meal in our staff cafeteria per shiftAdditional InformationVisa Requirements: To progress with your application, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
