About the role
Customer Service Representative Location: Brampton, ON Job Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Sales and Customer Service team in Brampton. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting customers, coordinating orders, and working closely with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
Reporting to the Inside Sales and Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative will support day-to-day customer service and sales activities, including order entry, order updates, pricing inquiries, expediting requests, and customer follow-up. This role works closely with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Internal Suppliers, and Production to support order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers Process, enter, and verify customer orders accurately Respond to customer and sales inquiries regarding order status, pricing, and delivery updates Work with internal teams to expedite orders and resolve customer requests in a timely manner Support stocking programs in coordination with Operations Provide excellent customer service while identifying opportunities to support and grow customer accounts Assist and provide backup support to team members as needed Follow company quality policies, procedures, and system requirements Support the Sales department and organization with additional duties as required
What You’ll Bring: 1–2 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, sales support, order entry, or a similar fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and excellent telephone presence Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to customer requests promptly A positive attitude, high energy level, and strong team-oriented mindset Confidence, empathy, and professionalism when supporting customers Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Post-secondary education in business, mathematics, quality, technical training, or a related field is considered an asset
What Sets You Apart: Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment Previous experience with order entry, order status updates, pricing inquiries, expediting, or sales coordination Experience working with internal teams such as Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Production, or Internal Suppliers Understanding of measurements, tolerances, basic geometry, drawings, or blueprints Experience supporting stocking programs or customer account growth Fluency in French, written and verbal, is considered an asset
Additional Information: This is a full-time, on-site position based in Brampton, Ontario. The expected salary range is $49,700 to $60,000 annually, with final compensation based on skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs.
