Position: Service Advisor Training Program Associate

Status: Contract Full-Time

The OpenRoad Auto Group is proud to offer a paid training program that prepares you for a career as a Service Advisor within our award-winning organization. OpenRoad's Service Advisor Training Program is a paid contract position that involves structured in-class training followed by real on-the-job experience.

Our next intake is May 13, 2024.

If you are successful in getting accepted to the program, you will receive a four (4) week full-time paid contract position that provides:

  • Two (2) weeks of in-class training, which consists of; OpenRoad Academy courses, in-person training
  • Two (2) weeks shadowing experience

What we are looking for in successful candidates for this program:

  • Positive Attitude: Have a positive attitude that creates a welcoming and engaging environment for our customers coming to OpenRoad to get their vehicle serviced.
  • Willingness to Learn and Adapt: Being open to learning and to stay updated on product knowledge, policies, and best practices. Adaptability enables them to adjust their approach based on individual customer needs and preferences.
  • Transparent and concise communication: Being able to communicate within your team and to our customers on their vehicle service needs
  • Customer Service Experience: Having a customer service background is preferred but not mandatory.

You will also need to be:

  • Legally able to operate a motor vehicle in the Province of British Columbia and able to provide a clean driver's abstract
