The Opportunity:

As a Summer Day Camp Support Worker, you'll be a cornerstone in children's learning and growth, fostering physical and social development in a secure and child-centred environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Understand each child and their family's unique needs, planning for successful outcomes.
  • Ensure seamless execution of daily routines, documenting and completing tasks promptly.
  • Comply with New Brunswick Child Care standards and Abuse Protocol Practices, aligning programming with YMCA and New Brunswick standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, responding promptly and effectively in emergencies.


Skills and Qualificiations :

  • Previous experience in a Day Camp or Youth Program setting.
  • Strong work ethic and exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent team player with cooperative leadership abilities.
  • Flexible with working hours and locations.
  • Employment contingent on a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and a cleared Social Development Check.
  • Current or willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR.
