Cargo Agent

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accepting and handling cargo;
- Creating shipping documents, including bills, invoices and reports
- Tracking shipping details, including cargo contents, weight and transportation time
- Provide customer service face to face, by phone and email
- Use of multiple computer operating systems
- Loading, offloading and sorting freight (Aircraft, truck & warehouse)
- Operate forklift
- Organizing warehouse
- Accept & handle Dangerous goods
- Manage cargo supplies and inventory;
- Perform general office duties as required;
- General accounting and completion of daily sales reports;
- Other Duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in providing customer service in a fast pace environment;
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills;
- Must exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent problem solving skills as this position requires on the spot decision making;
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment;
- Must be able to obtain a clear Record of Conduct.
- Ability to lift weight up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work flexible work shifts
- Must have valid drivers licence
- Must obtain or possess an airport Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP)
- Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
