The Nova Scotia Emergency Management Office works in collaboration with other federal, and provincial departments, critical infrastructure partners, and Nova Scotian Municipalities to strengthen local and provincial emergency preparedness, through planning, training, and exercising.

EMO, the foremost Provincial government agency in emergency response, is seeking a versatile, agile, resourceful leader to fill the role of Manager of Disaster Assistance Operations.
In this key senior management role, you will lead the planning, direction, and execution of disaster assistance programs across Nova Scotia. This role demands strategic acumen and operational expertise to ensure prompt and coordinated aid to individuals, small businesses, and government entities. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the approval of all disaster assistance payments and strategically leveraging federal resources through the Disaster Financial Assistance Arrangement.

Salary Range: $3,687.15 - $4,608.93 Bi-Weekly
